Frances H. Baker Miller

Frances H. Miller, long-time, Chandler, Oklahoma, resident, was born on September 1, 1922, in Wellston, Oklahoma, and departed this life on October 11, 2006, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 84 years.

Frances was the daughter of Frank and Charity Sue Collins Baker. She married George Miller in September of 1939. After his death, she married Cleo Allenbaugh who also preceded Frances in death. Frances attended schools in the Lincoln County area. In her early years Frances worked at the Douglas Air Force Base during WWII and enjoyed a period of working at the Central Drug Store in Chandler. She later was a Dental Assistant for Dr. Dickson in Chandler for almost 40 years and worked for 3 generations of Dickson?s. Frances was a member of the Chandler First Baptist Church and was on the board of directors of the Chandler Senior Citizens.

Her parents; two husbands; and one son, Albert Lee Miller; preceded her in death.

Survivors include, Two sons & daughters-in-law, Larry & Glenda Miller of Chandler, OK, Robert & Anne Miller of Beaumont, TX, Four sisters, Dorothy Sweet of Chandler, OK, Bert Kaulback of Springfield, OR, Betty Zaboktrusky, Washington, KS, Shirley Stephens, Wellston, OK, Six grandchildren, Nine great grandchildren. Other relatives and friends, including a special friend Art Johnson.
