James Murdock McCoy Jr.

Oak Park Cemetery


James Murdock McCoy Jr., Chandler, Oklahoma, resident, was born on March 15, 1922, in Chandler, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Thursday, August 9, 2007, in Oklahoma City, at the age of 85.

James was the son of James Murdock and Mary Elizabeth Wayland McCoy. He owned and operated the Sinclair Service Station in Chandler for many years. James worked with the Boy Scouts and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Chandler.

His parents, four sisters and three brothers preceded James in death. Survivors include, Wife, Ruth McCoy of the home, One son & daughter-in-law, Raymond & Ouida McCoy of Tulsa, OK, One sister, Alta Linale of Los Angeles, CA, Four grandchildren, Other relatives and many friends.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler, Oklahoma, with Rev. Jim Lundy and Brother Tom Wright officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
