DEATH OF ALVIN ALFORD
Alvin, seven-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Cleve Alford, who reside one and one-half miles north of Chandler, passed away Sunday, January 4, 1925, after a few days illness caused from pneumonia.
Funeral services were held from the home Monday afternoon, conducted by Rev. J. E. Pennington, of Chandler. Interment was made in Zion cemetery. The bereaved parents and other relatives have the sympathy of the entire community in their hour of sorrow.

We wish to thank our many friends for their kindness and help during the sickness and death of our darling boy, Alvin. Also to express our gratitude to his teacher and classmates for their beautiful flowers, and to the other friends for their sympathy and floral offerings. To those who sang the beautiful songs and to the pall bearers we owe a debt of gratitude that we cannot express in words. Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Alford and Sisters Thelma and Edith.
