LORRAINE GALLAWAY
1925 - 2013


Lorraine Adams Gallaway was born on April 10, 1925, in Depew, and departed this life on Monday, August 5, 2013, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 88.
Lorraine, the daughter of Elmer Garrett and Laura Jane Wasson Adams, was a resident of Meeker.
She married Huston Newton Gallaway on October 30, 1942, in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on August 23, 1992.
Lorraine was a homemaker and worked for several years for the State of Oklahoma at the Capitol.
She was a member of the Meeker Assembly of God.
Her parents, two sisters and one infant brother also preceded Lorraine in death.
Lorraine is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Wesley Huston and Shirley Gallaway of Meeker, Lawrence Thurman and Helen Gallaway of Prescott Washington and Edgar; thirteen grandchildren; twenty four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews and other family, church family and host of very special friends.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 9, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Assembly of God Church in Meeker with Rev. Charles Pearcy officiating.
Interment will follow at New Salem Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home.
