Linda Joyce Gouker Kinnett

January 7, 1943 - January 18, 2018

Linda Joyce Kinnett was born on January 7, 1943, in Prague, and departed this life on Thursday, January 18, 2018, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 75.

Linda, the daughter of Milburn “Mib” and Barbara (Gilpin) Gouker, was a resident of Porum. She attended Meeker High School and graduated in 1960 going on to attend Business College in Shawnee. She married Danny Ray Kinnett on November 8, 1968 in Miami, OK and enjoyed 49 years of marriage. Linda worked for DHS for over 32 years and retired in 1993 as an administrative assistant. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, her dogs, plants, gardening and fishing and most importantly spending time with her family and grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Danny Ray Kinnett.

Linda is survived by her husband, Dan Kinnett of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Shelly and George Durham of Houston, TX; son and daughter-in-law, Michael Todd and Angela Marie Kinnett of Edgewood, TX; grandchildren, Logan Kinnett, Krista Kinnett, Dakota Kinnett, Cloe Kinnett, Cody Kinnett, Jack Durham and Cooper Durham; great grandchild Kendall Marie Whitney; special friend, Kimberly Vangilder; numerous nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

The Kinnett family will receive friends on Sunday, January 21, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Meeker.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 22, 2018 at 10:00 AM, at First Baptist Church in Meeker with Rev. Joe Jones officiating. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Meeker. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
