JERAL CLIFFORD ZIEGLER
1925 - 2007


Jeral Clifford Ziegler was born on October 10, 1925, in Prague, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Sunday, June 17, 2007, in Norman, Oklahoma, at the age of 81.
Jeral, the son of Charles McKinley and Ina Lydia Long Ziegler, was a resident of Shawnee.
He was a graduate of Prague High School and The University of Oklahoma School of Journalism.
Jeral proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II during which time he saw service on Okinawa and in Korea.
Jeral worked for over 40 years in radio broadcasting and advertising at KGFF.
His hobbies included fishing, gardening, cooking and family gatherings.
Jeral was of the Baptist faith and was actively involved in the VFW in Shawnee.
His parents; one brother, Jack; and one sister, June Marler, preceded Jeral in death.
Survivors include sister, Charliene Kimery of Prague; nephews, Charles Bohuslavicky of Paden; Clifford Marler of Oklahoma City; nieces, Jackie Skaggs of Moore; Theresa Cox of Midwest City; Linda Manning of Mississippi; Sara Jarvis of Ft. Gibson; several great-nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at 2:00 p.m., at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Rev. Dyton Owen officiating.
Interment will follow at the Prague Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
