WANDA BEULAH WRIGHT
1920 - 2007


Wanda Beulah Talley Wright passed away on Monday, January 15, 2007 in the Midwest City Regional Medical Center at the age of 86 years.
The daughter of the late Balford Talley and Virginia Mae Gideon Talley, Wanda was born on June 28, 1920 in Drumright, Oklahoma. She was one of 11 children and graduated from Drumright High School.
She was united in marriage to A. L. “Ab” Wright on January 11, 1940 in Shamrock, Oklahoma.
Wanda was a longtime member of the Del City Christian Church, she enjoyed cooking and most of all spending time with her grandchildren and family.
In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by three brothers and six sisters.
Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Ab, of the home in Del City; one son, Terry Wright and his wife Kathy of Woodridge, Illinois; two daughters, Jeannine Dickerson and her husband John of Del City, and Sharon Jefferson of Del City; one brother, Jack Talley of Houston, Texas; ten grandchildren, twenty two great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 19, 2007 in the Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel, Cushing, Oklahoma with Reverend Ted Uhlig officiating. Burial will follow in the Flynn Cemetery, Cushing, Oklahoma.
Services have been entrusted to the Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, Oklahoma.
