LONNIE JOE WRIGHT
1963 - 2012


Lonnie Joe Wright, age 48 of Agra, passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at his home in Agra.
Lonnie was born on October 26, 1963 in Chandler, Oklahoma to the late Marion and Leota Thompson Wright.
He grew up in Chandler, graduating from Chandler High School in 1981.
He was raised on a dairy farm, milking cows for a number of years.
Lonnie married Shelly Rodgers on August 10, 1985 in Agra.
He worked for Power Equipment and Engineering as a sales representative for a number of years, until a stroke prevented him from working.
He was baptized into the Church of the Firstborn on December 18, 1994.
Lonnie was a member of the Church of the Firstborn.
He loved raising animals. Lonnie liked to fish. He also enjoyed wood working.
Lonnie is survived by his sons, Kyle Wright of Stillwater; and David Blain Wright of Stillwater; close friend Shelly Wright; sisters Judy Wayland and husband Glen of Chandler; Linda Cloud of South Carolina; brothers Rick Wright and wife Sherry of Shawnee; Tom Wright and wife Janet of Chandler; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Parkland Cemetery, Parkland, Oklahoma.
Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing.
