MELVIN RAYMOND WOODEN SR.
1935 - 2012


Melvin Raymond Wooden, 76, was born November 1, 1935 in Kendrick, Oklahoma and passed away on Friday, April 13, 2012 in Shawnee, Oklahoma at Rose Manor Nursing Center.
He is survived by three children, Lenora Taber and husband Steve of Chandler; Melvin Wooden, Jr. and wife Connie of Brea, California; and Lori Wilson of Shawnee; one granddaughter, Candy Taber; two grandsons, Jason Taber and Craig Wooden; and two great-grandsons, Steffyn and Blayne Taber.
He will be very much missed.
Graveside service will be Tuesday, April 17 at 2:00 p.m. at Davenport Cemetery, Davenport, Oklahoma.
Services are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
