JERRY EUGENE WILLIAMS
1934 - 2014


Jerry Eugene “Bear” Williams was born on April 10, 1934, in Meeker, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Thursday, April 24, 2014, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 80.
Jerry, the son of Gennie Claude and Alpha Gladys Gentry Williams, was a resident of Prague.
He graduated from Prague High School in 1952.
He married Clarice Alene Green Williams on March 16, 1957, in Okemah. They made their home in New Orleans, Louisiana for 30 years and returned to Prague in 1995. Although they left New Orleans they still made regular trips back to the Big Easy, particularly their annual trip down for Mardi Gras.
His parents, wife, one granddaughter and two sisters preceded Jerry in death.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Donna Williams of Windermere, Florida, daughter, Kim Pearse of Prague; grandchildren, Justin and Jordan Pearse and Stephanie, Jeremy and Sarah Williams and other family and friends.
The Williams family will receive friends on Friday, April 25, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Prague.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Prague Cemetery in Prague with Bro. Tim Emmons officiating.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
