HUBERT L. WILEY
1942 - 2000


Shawnee resident Hubert L. Wiley died Friday, February 18 in Midwest City. He was 58.
Mr. Wiley was born January 21, 1942, in Rossville to Leo A. and Naomi Armitage Wiley.
He married Sherry L. Weems on August 28, 1965, in Okeene.
He graduated from Meeker High School and attended one year at the University of Central Oklahoma.
He retired in 1991 from Tinker Air Force Base, where he worked in civil engineering.
He was a member of Hazel Dell Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge of Del City and was usher for the Oklahoma City Red Hawks for eight years.
He lived in the Shawnee area for 27 years, moving from Midwest City.
He served on the Dale School Board for 10 years.
Survivors include his wife, Sherry Wiley of the home; daughters and sons-in-law, Robin and Darin Greene and Shannon and Chris Griggs, all of Shawnee; four brothers, Jerry Wiley of Harrah; Ronny Wiley of Tulsa; Leroy Wiley of Shawnee and Paul Wiley of Meeker; two grandchildren, Landon Greene and Ryanne Griggs, both of Shawnee.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at Hazel Dell Baptist Church with Montie Campbell officiating.
Burial will be in Rossville Cemetery, Lincoln County, under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.
