RONALD DEAN WHITHAM
1949 - 2002


Ronald Dean Whitham, 53, died Sunday, May 19, 2002, in Stillwater.
Services, with Pastor Wayne Sanmann presiding, will be Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Tryon Cemetery. Strode Funeral Home is directing the arrangements.
He was born in Stillwater March 11, 1949, to Cleo and Jewell Whitham.
He married Shelle Ann Whitham in 1989. They were later divorced.
He graduated from Stillwater High School in 1966 and worked for Cannion Construction Company building swimming pools and shipping centers across Oklahoma and Kansas. He continued working in the construction business in many facets most of his life.
He enjoyed fishing, gardening, gambling and collectibles.
He was a member of the Southside Baptist Church and the Oklahoma Sheriff’s Association.
He was predeceased by his parents and one brother, Jackie Whitham.
He is survived by two sons and two daughters, Jewellia Whitham and John Dobson of Stillwater, Frankie Dean Winterholter of Stillwater, and Amanda Ann Whitham of Sapulpa; one grandson, Brandon Reid Dobson of Stillwater; and three brothers, Gene Whitham and his wife Barbara of Wellington, Kansas, Larry Whitham and his wife Susan of Mayfield, Kansas and Luke Harley Whitham of Sapulpa, Oklahoma.
Memorials may be made to the Family Memorial Fund, in memory of Ronald Dean Whitham, c/o Strode Funeral Home, P.O. Box 487, Stillwater, OK 74076.
