The Choctaw/Nicoma Park School Board honored his twenty three years of exemplary guidance in the Choctaw/Nicoma Park School System by naming the "L.W. Westfall Elementary School" in his honor.
Dr. Westfall was a member of the First Baptist Church of Nicoma Park since 1961. He was a Past Master for forty two years for Masonic Lodges in Carney, Temple, and Nicoma Park, Oklahoma.
