RON LEON WERNER
1944 - 2012


Ron Leon Werner was born on November 10, 1944, in Reading, Pennsylvania, and departed this life on Wednesday, September 5, 2012, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 67.
Ron, the son of Francis and Pauline Swartz Werner, was a resident of Prague.
Ron married Wanda Collier on December 28, 1964 in Allentown, Florida.
After retiring from the US Air Force, Ron and Wanda settled in Prague where he enjoyed the last several years touching the community at the Prague Bakery.
Ron was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda, of the home; sons and daughter-in-law, Danny and Bonnie Werner of Wellington, Colorado; and William Werner of the home; daughters, Ronda Werner of Prague; and Candi Werner of Paden ;and Candi"s fiance, David Nootbaar; his mother, Pauline Werner of Florida; brother and sister-in-law, Barry and Hilda Werner or Florida; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betsy and Ken Dodson of Florida ;and Suzie and Joey Saba of Florida; grandchildren, Jessica Werner, D'Nae Werner, McKenna Werner, Alyssa Werner, Melissa Foote, Jenny Hay, Michelle Bond and Amy Opperman; great-granddaughter, Sianna Jordan; and six other great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Prague with Tim Emmons officiating.
