BETTY JO WEBB
1930 - 2014


Betty Jo Christy Webb was born November 21, 1930 in Warwick, Oklahoma to Cornelius Christy and Leona Barbara Sweet Christy. She passed away March 1, 2014 in Griffin, Georgia at the age of 83.
She liked to craft ceramics, draw and paint. She enjoyed traveling abroad as her favorite destination was England. Most of all, she loved family gatherings.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Neal and Leona; her husband of 55 years, Charles Edward Webb, Sr.; brothers, Earl Christy, Carl Christy, Jimmy Dale Christy; sisters, Goldia Gallaher and Lorene Spotts and grandson, Chad Webb.
Survivors include her sons, Glen Webb and his wife Fran of Brooks, Georgia; Charles Webb, Jr. and his wife Monique of Fayetteville, Georgia; five grandchildren, Amy Morrison, Eric Webb, Nicolas Webb, Ryan Webb, Jennifer Webb; five great-grandchildren, Meagan, Adrien, Reese, Jacob, Wyatt; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
A funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2014 at the Lehman Funeral Home Chapel in Wellston with interment following in the Star Valley Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
