THOMAS DEWEY WALKER
1909 - 2005


Thomas "Tom" Dewey Walker was born in Okemah, Oklahoma on January 14, 1909, and departed this life in Stroud, Oklahoma on Saturday, April 2, 2005, at the age of 96 years.
Tom was the son of Clint and Madie Hunter Walker.
He was a resident of Davenport, Oklahoma and worked as a driller in the oilfield.
Tom was a member of the First Baptist Church in Davenport, Oklahoma.
He married Irene Stone Clark on July 8, 1974, in Milfay, Oklahoma.
His wife, his parents, one son, one daughter, four brothers and one sister preceded Tom in death.
Survivors include three daughters, Aleta Smalley of Stroud, Oklahoma, Connie Walker of Milfay, Oklahoma and Carmen Bruner of Bristow, Oklahoma, one sister, Estelle Hoagland, fifteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren as well as other relatives and friends.
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Stroud Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Mitchell officiating.
Parks Brothers Funeral Home of Stroud is directing arrangements.
