BOBBY ALAN WAKOLEE
1975 - 2009


Tecumseh residents Bobby Alan Wakolee, 34, Teresa Lee Wakolee, 39, and Summer Dawn Etchieson, 7 months, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2009, in Tecumseh.
Bobby Wakolee was born May 25, 1975, in Claremore, Oklahoma, to Gary Wayne and Gwendolyn Kay Faught Wakolee, and lived his entire life in the Pottawatomie county area. He attended Shawnee and Meeker schools, graduating from Meeker High School in 1993. He was continuing his education at East Central University in Ada to become a football coach, and worked as a security guard at COJC.
He was a member of the Indian Baptist Church of Earlsboro, as well as a member of the Sac and Fox Tribe. He enjoyed fishing and University of Oklahoma football, playing paintball, watching NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhardt, and spending time with his granddaughter, Summer Dawn.
Bobby was a loving son, brother, father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his father; and his grandparents, Harry Eugene and Lillian Wakolee; and Willis Faught.
He is survived by his mother, Gwendolyn Wakolee of Calder, Idaho; grandmother, Sylvia Faught of Idaho; children, Heather Nichole Nunnally, Christian Nicholas Nunnally, and Troupe Tiger Wakolee ; sister and brother-in-law, Debra and Kim Case of Prague; brother, Billy Wakolee of Shawnee; niece and her husband, Mallory and Jimmy Lackey of Shawnee; niece, Kira Wakolee of Shawnee; nephew, Kyle Mitchell of Shawnee; and great-niece, Chloee Mitchell; as well as several aunts, uncles, numerous cousins, other family members and friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 27, 2009, at the Highland Church of Christ in Tecumseh with the Rev. Ellis Rolette and Chaplain Jim Kirkendall officiating.
Burial will be at Sunnyside Cemetery in Meeker under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, from 2:00 p.m to 4:00 p.m.
