GEORGE WELDON VIAR
1928 - 2011


George Weldon Viar, 82, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday February 5, 2011.
He was born August 10, 1928 in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
George loved his family, friends and serving the Lord. He taught Sunday School, had a beautiful tenor voice and sang in choirs and quartets.
He served four years in the Navy during the Korean War on board the Coral Sea.
He is survived by his loving wife Pat of 58 years, son, Mike Viar and wife Vicky, daughter, Janis Berryman and husband, Al, four grandchildren, Ashley Sprinkle and husband Alec, Whitney Huskey and husband Darrell, Megan and Marina Berryman and one great grandchild, Katelyn Rayne Sprinkle on the way.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 12 at 10:00 a.m. at The Rock Assembly of God, located at 12500 S. Penn.
Graveside services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Prague Cemetery.
