DARRELL LEE VALLIQUETTE
1939 - 2016


Darrell Lee Valliquette was born in Springfield, Colorado on January 19, 1939 and departed this life in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on Friday, July 29, 2016 at the age of 77 years.
Darrell was the son of Joseph and Sarah Hostetler Valliquette.
He was a resident of Stroud most of his life. He was a member of the Higher Praise Church in Stroud and worked in the oil and gas business.
He married Carole Buchanan on January 11, 1960 in Stroud, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and one brother.
Survivors include his wife, Carole of the home, three daughters, Diane Dervin of Oklahoma City, Brenda Wright and husband Eddie of Stroud and Mary Mitchell and husband Mike of Chandler, three brothers, Earl Valliquette and wife Susie of Cresent, Kenneth Valliquette and wife Marie of Cresent and Ronnie Valliquette and wife Arlene of Plano, Texas and one sister, Ruth Thompson of Cresent, seven grandchildren, Brianna Pittman and husband Shawn, Derek Dervin and wife Lindsey, Bailey Wright, Gage Wright, Caden Mitchell, Casey Mitchell and Cale Mitchell, six great grandchildren, Joe Pittman, Wil Pittman, Katy Pittman, Brailyn Dervin and Aidyn Dervin, other relatives and friends.
Funeral sevice will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Stroud on Monday, August 1, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Jon Mitchell and Pastor Ge'rard Nsabimana officiating.
Burial will follow in the Stroud Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brother Funeral Service in Stroud.
