RONALD JOE TYLER
1944 - 2013


Ronald Joe Tyler was born May 22, 1944 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and passed away at the age of 68, in Talihina, Oklahoma May 8, 2013.
Joe loved the outdoors including hunting, fishing and water skiing.
He proudly served his country fighting in Vietnam serving in both the United States Army as well as the United States Navy.
After leaving the military, Joe served as a member of the California Fire Department Search and Rescue Team.
He later became an electrician working in the manufacturing plants.
Most of all, Joe loved his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Voll and Clara Jean Tyler.
He is survived by his son, Eric Tyler and wife Stephanie of Harrah; daughter Sherri Thompson of Jones; six grandchildren, Ryan Austin and Bailee Nicole of Harrah; Vinton, Logan, Chris and Desiree of Jones; two brothers, Richard Tyler and wife Darce of Chandler; Paul Tyler and family of Arizona; sister Tonya Flewellen and husband Bret of Drumright; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and other family members.
Visitation is scheduled from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m on Saturday, May 11 at Lehman Funeral Home in Wellston.
Graveside service will be Monday, May 13 at 10:00 a.m.
Services are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
