DARCE JANET TYLER
1946 - 2015


Darce Janet Sybert Tyler was born February 5, 1946 in Dumas, Arkansas to Wesley Richard Sybert and Elsie Ida Rickett. She passed away March 7, 2015 in Oklahoma City at the age of 69.
Darce moved to Oklahoma City at a young age and attended John Marshall High School.
She married Richard Lee Tyler in 1965 and then attended Central State Beauty College.
Darce and Richard moved to Chandler in 1978 where she ran Darce's Beauty Shop for many years. She was a long standing member of the Chandler First Baptist Church.
Darce was preceded in death by her parents, Wesley and Elsie.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Richard Tyler of the home; three daughters, Carmen Hutchins and her husband Robert of Dustin; Janette Moore and her husband David of Chandler; Veronica Arcinega of Oklahoma City; five grandchildren, Brandon Tyler, Sarah Hutchins, Robyn Hutchins, Johnny Moore and Robert Hutchins II; one great-grandchild, Kalen Looney; five siblings, Ricky Sybert, Catherine Penny, Betty Loflin, Sharon Barkley and Janey Knight; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will cherish her memory.
A funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at the First Baptist Church of Chandler with interment following in the Wellston Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
