MARCELINA R. TROMPETER
1921 - 2000


Former Wellston resident Marcelina R. Rameriz Trompeter of Oklahoma City died Wednesday, April 5, in Oklahoma City. She was 78.
Mrs. Trompeter was born December 20, 1921, in Anadarko to Martin and Bessie Camarillo Rameriz.
She married Woodrow Trompeter.
She retired from the food services department at the University of Central Oklahoma and had lived in Oklahoma City since her retirement.
Survivors include four sons, Tommy Sanchez, Oklahoma City; Dan Sanchez and Darrell Sanchez, both of Yukon; Martin Sanchez, Quanna, Texas; four daughters, Anita Guerria, Oklahoma City; Kathie Rico, Virginia City, New Mexico; Gloria Valleyos, Dexter, New Mexico; and Dalia Wyanns, Mustang; two brothers, Frankie Rameriz, El Paso, Texas; Polo Ramirez, Verden; five sisters, Lou Gonsales and Stella Kumez, both of Oklahoma City; Ida Joyer and Juanita Rameriz, both of California; Jo Rameriz, Carnegie; 32 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and two sisters.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church, Wellston, with the Rev. Alan Small officiating.
Burial will follow in Wellston Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Chandler.
