LOVEY JEAN TOLES
1931 - 2007


Lovey Jean Thompson Toles, age 75 of Agra, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, June 27, 2007 in Agra.
She was born on October 2, 1931 in Agra, Oklahoma to the late Alvy and Ellen Whitman Thompson.
Lovey was one of nine siblings. She grew up in the Agra and Chandler area, attending Chandler schools.
She married Charles William Toles on August 5, 1946 in Winfield, Kansas.
She went to work for O.S.U. in 1967 and retired in the spring of 1987 as Postmaster at O.S.U.
Lovey was a member of the Church of the Firstborn in Agra, where she enjoyed helping with Vacation Bible School. She would often take her grandchildren and great grandchildren with her.
She liked photography and even took photography classes. She loved to cook for her family and for her friends.
She liked to do for others. She also enjoyed sewing.
Lovey is survived by her daughters Patricia Jean Brown and her husband Lynn of Agra; Johnnie Lucille Stark and her husband Byron of Agra; son Jim W. Toles and his wife Janene of Agra; brothers Harley Thompson of Cushing; Jack Thompson of Dublin, Texas; Carl Thompson of Agra; sisters Leota Wright of Chandler; and Lois Blake of Cushing; four grandchildren Rodney Evans, Tamara Walker and husband David; Pamela Bond and husband Rick; and Kimberly Gallagher and husband Brad; five great grandchildren Brandon, Kayla, Dillon, Sheay and Lauren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Charles William Toles; brothers Walter Thompson and Lee Thompson; and sister Nellie Stevens.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 30, 2007 at the Church of the Firstborn, Agra, Oklahoma. Brother Tom Wright will officiate.
Interment will follow at the Parkland Cemetery, Parkland, Oklahoma.
Serving as casketbearers will be Brandon Bond, Brad Gallagher, David Walker, Darrell Stevens, Eric Seitsinger and Justin Seitsinger.
Services are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing.
