NELDA FAYE TISLOW
1924 - 2010


Nelda Faye Gardner Tislow was born on July 17, 1924, in Grand Valley, Colorado, and departed this life on Monday, October 18, 2010, in Stroud, Oklahoma, at the age of 86 years.
Nelda, the daughter of James E. and Laura Osborn Gardner, was a long-time resident of Chandler, Oklahoma.
She married Doyle Tislow on July 3, 1941, in Chandler.
Nelda was a homemaker and member of the Chandler Southern Baptist Church.
Her parents, husband, and two sisters preceded Nelda in death.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Philip and Audine Tislow of Chandler, Oklahoma, two granddaughters and grandsons-in-law, Kristin and Ken Attebery of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Kelli and Jeremy Robbins of Chandler, Oklahoma, three great-grandsons, Conner and Owen Attebery of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Kyle Robbins of Chandler, Oklahoma, as well as other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 21, 2010, at the Chandler Southern Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Henley officiating.
Interment followed at Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler.
Services were under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
