MAXINE IRENE TIGER
1932 - 2011


Maxine Irene McCulle Tiger was born in McPherson, Kansas on July 27, 1932 and departed this life in Stroud, Oklahoma on Friday, March 25, 2011 at the age of 78 years.
Maxine was the daughter of Samuel R. and Evelyn R. "Bill" Lake McCulle.
She was a resident of McPherson, Kansas and Stroud, Oklahoma most of her life.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Stroud and was a retired Register Nurse after 14 years at the Drumright Nursing Home and 28 years at the McPherson Memorial Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers in laws, Junior Martin and Larry Clark and one sister, Ilene "Cookie" Martin.
Survivors include two sons, Ernest Christensen of Bethany, Oklahoma and Erwin Christensen and wife Jan of Bristow, Oklahoma, one daughter and son in Law, Clarissa and Carl Munson of Stroud, Oklahoma, one sister, Rose Clark of Roxburg, Kansas, six grandchildren, Jennifer and Mike Gibson, Carrie and Wesley Bounds, Hayley Howell, Jake Christensen, Alyssa Christensen and Adam Christensen, three step grandchildren, Kendra Steele, Kenny Parrick and Patrick Parrick, eleven great grandchildren, Collin Munson, Courtney Criswell, Cordell Criswell, Delaney Gibson, Von Hudson Christensen, Damon Bounds, Jaci Bounds, Garrett and Morgan Steele, Gage and Kenlee Parrick, Anna Parrick and Charley and Kailea Coleman, several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held at the Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Burl Mackey officiating.
Burial will be in the Stroud Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service, Stroud, Oklahoma.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to: Alzheimer Association.
