RUBY MAE THOMAS
1911 - 2000


Ruby Mae Hamilton Rikard Thomas died Saturday in Chandler at the age of 89.
She was born on June 17, 1911, in Pauls Valley, the daughter of Henry and Mary Elizabeth Kent Hamilton.
Mrs. Thomas owned and operated the Thomas Grocery and Antique Shop in Chandler for many years. She and her husband, Tommy, were the co-owners.
She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Chandler.
Preceding her in death were her two husbands, O. A. Rikard and A. A. "Tommy" Thomas, two daughters, four brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include two grandsons and their wives, Mike and Stephanie Goodman of Chandler and Jerry and Cheryl Goodman of Chandler; one granddaughter, Rita Dudley of Cushing; one son-in-law, Elvin Goodman of Chandler and two great-granddaughters.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel. David Campbell will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Star Valley Cemetery.
