JAMES DALLAS TEEL
1932 - 2001


James Dallas Teel died Friday in Stroud. He was 69.
He was born July 18, 1932, in Randles, Missouri to Wesley E. and Arcadia A. Crow Teel.
He married Sherrill Nussbaum on April 3, 1959, in Hornersville, Missouri.
James was a retired farm manager and a resident of the Chandler area, moving from Altus in April 2000.
He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean conflict.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and a sister.
Survivors include his wife Sherrill Teel of the home; son and daughter-in-law, James D. and Lori K. Teel, Edmond; daughter and son-in-law, Katie and Jim Sloan, Broken Arrow; brother, Ottis Teel, Canon City, California; sisters, Jessie Kovaleski and Emma Nell Posk, both of Marysville, California; and Virginia Teel, Minneapolis, Kansas; two grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Bernie Cemetery, Bernie, Missouri. The family will meet those attending at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday at Watkins Funeral Home, Dexter, Missouri.
Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at the First United Methodist Church, Altus, under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service, Chandler.
