CLYDE GILBERT TATE
1919 - 2002


Clyde Gilbert Tate, 82, died Sunday, July 14, 2002, at the Cushing Regional Hospital.
He was born December 30, 1919, in Steele, Missouri to George and Flora Tate.
He was reared and educated in Missouri.
Clyde married Mattie Tiner May 13, 1940, in Arizona. The couple came to the Agra community in 1978. She died February 19, 2002.
He was a member of the Church of the Firstborn and enjoyed listening to Bible tapes and working in his garden.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by two sisters.
Survivors include five children, Gloria Skinner of Agra, Lynda Godwin of Enid, Keith Tate of Tulsa, Cathy Chapman of Jacksonville, Florida and Mark Tate of Cushing; twelve grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 16 at Parkland Cemetery.
Donny Malloy and Lynn Brown will preside.
Services are under the direction of Davis Funeral Home.
