DONALD WAYNE STRODER
1943 - 2015


Donald Wayne Stroder was born November 4, 1943, in Manila, Arkansas, to Adam and Dora Gipson Stroder. and departed this life on November 9, 2015 at the age of 72 years.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, two grandsons and one great granddaughter.
Donald worked as a truck driver for many years and served in the United States Army.
Survivors include two sons, Ronald Stroder of Chandler, Oklahoma and Franklin Stroder of Frazier, Tennessee, two daughters, Bonnie Stroder of Hinton, Oklahoma and Carla Terry of Ripley, Tennessee, five sisters and one brother, Colleen Boshell of Arkansas, Betty and Phil Combs of Mississippi, Carolyn Holland of Missouri, Bethal Stroder of Lousiana and Jewel Stroder of Meeker, Oklahoma, mother of his children, Connie Trippett of Ripley, Tennessee, eight grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 12, 2015, at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Chandler, Oklahoma, with Rev. John Vails officiating.
Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Meeker, Oklahoma.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
