ALVENA JOHANNA MINNIE STIEBER
1918 - 2014


Alvena Johanna Minnie Hodde Stieber, long-time Chandler, Oklahoma, resident was born on May 13, 1918, near McLoud, Oklahoma, and departed this life on February 16, 2014, in Chandler, at the age of 95 years.
Alvena was the daughter of Carl Friedrich Wilhelm and Sophie Berger Hodde.
She married Joe Stieber on August 2, 1945, and was a faithful member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church at Wellston.
Her parents; one son, Leon Stieber; her husband; six brothers and seven sisters preceded Alvena in death.
Survivors include, two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Sharlene Stieber of Chandler; Jackie and Janna Stieber of Warwick, Oklahoma; one sister-in-law, Louise Hodde of Wellston, Oklahoma; four grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 19, 2014, at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Chandler, Oklahoma.
Burial will follow at Jamison Cemetery near Meeker, Oklahoma, with Rev. Doyle Seeley officiating.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
