MYRNA SUE STEARNS
1944 - 2014


Myrna Sue Hruska Stearns was born on October 10, 1944, in Prague, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Tuesday, August 26, 2014, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, at the age of 69.
Myrna, the daughter of Adolph "Lefty" and Elsie Lue Mitchell Hruska, was a resident of Shawnee.
She married Vernon Stearns on August 15, 1983, in Prague.
Mr. Stearns, her parents, and one sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Tommy Smith, preceded Myrna in death.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Sherry Hayes of Stroud; two grandchildren, Leah Couch and Harrison Hayes, both of Stroud; two great grandchildren, Elizabeth and Cameron Couch of Stroud; one sister, Maxine Van Brunt of Prague; several nieces and nephews, as well as numerous friends.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2014, at 9:00 a.m. at the Prague Cemetery in Prague with Rev. JoeAnn Pritchett officiating.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
