SUE ELLEN STANGL
1968 - 2014


Stroud resident Sue Ellen Crauthers Stangl departed this life on Monday, July 7, 2014, in Stroud, Oklahoma, at the age of 45.
She was born July 26, 1968, in Stroud, Oklahoma, the daughter of Raymond and Ellen Carter Crauthers.
She married Dennis Robert Stangl on November 19, 1988, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Prague.
She worked as a clerk and receptionist. Sue enjoyed helping others and making people happy. She spent many hours helping prepare and serve dinners at her church. She also enjoyed arts and crafts and liked to make things for people. She always put others before herself.
She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Crauthers; father-in-law, Robert "Bob" Stangl; grandparents, aunt and cousin.
Survivors include her husband of 25 years, Dennis Robert Stangl of the home; daughter, Danielle Stangl of the home; her mother, Ellen Crauthers of Stroud; brothers, Andy Crauthers and Timothy Crauthers, both of Stroud; mother-in-law, Bernadette Stangl of Prague; nephew, Tate Allen "Bug" Crauthers and other family and friends.
Due to circumstances beyond our control, Mrs. Stangl will be available for viewing at Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud. We apologize for any inconvenience.
A wake service and rosary will be held 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 10, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 11, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Prague with Rev. Price M. Oswalt, K.C.H.S. officiating.
Interment will follow at the Catholic Cemetery in Prague.
