JAYLENE STANDLEE
1962 - 2016

Jaylene Arp Standlee, 53, of Meeker, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2016. She was born October 7, 1962, in Shawnee, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Lucille Cedillia Murphy Arp.
Jaylene was a proud momma and grandma.
She married Gaylon Standlee on August 20, 1983 in Prague.
She was a housewife and took very good care of her family. She loved sewing and cooking. But most of all she loved her grandkids.
When she cooked she made the best chili, which was one of her best things she made. There wasn’t one person she didn’t make feel welcome when they came to the house. She also never sugar coated anything, but would listen to you. She was one of the most loving and caring people and always treated everyone the same.
She was preceded in death by her mother and a brother, Ronald Tuter.
Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Gaylon Standlee of Meeker; daughters, Alicia Standlee, Lacey Standlee and Ashley Standlee; son, Cody Standlee; six grandchildren, Clifford Standlee, Jay Standlee, Andrew Moore, Charlie Standlee, William Standlee and Piper Standlee, all of Meeker; brother, James Tuter of Oklahoma City; sister, Lena Jones of Oklahoma City; many nieces and nephews and numerous other family and friends.
The Standlee family will receive friends on Monday, July 11, 2016 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Prague.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at 10:00 a.m., at Prague Church of Christ with Palmer Smith officiating.
Interment will follow at Rossville Cemetery in Meeker.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
