LIBBY LEE SPURGEON
1918 - 1997


Former Prague resident Libby Lee Vobornik Spurgeon died Wednesday in Oklahoma City. She was 79.
She was born January 5, 1918, in Prague to Henry and Mary Pantlik Vobornik.
She had lived in Oklahoma City for 30 years and was a member of Pennsylvania Avenue Methodist Church. She also was a member of ZCBJ Lodge of Prague.
Survivors include her niece, Joanie Jedlicka, of Oklahoma City; who cared for her during her last years, and three sisters, Helen Dostal, Rose Sefcik, both of Prague; and Clara Pospisil of Shawnee.
Preceding her in death were her parents, one brother and two sisters.
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Czech National Cemetery in Prague with Tom Jedlicka officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Prague.
