RUBY L. SPARKMAN
1941 - 2010
Ruby L. Willerford Sparkman passed away Tuesday morning, August 31, 2010, in the Cushing Regional Hospital at the age of 69 years.
The daughter of the late William Willerford and Artie Lou Swafford Willerford, Ruby was born on July 7, 1941 in Milfay, Oklahoma and was raised and educated in that area.
Ruby was a homemaker and she enjoyed painting and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Sparkman of the home; her three children, Sandra Swafford of Beggs, Oklahoma; Deirdre Colwell of Troy, Illinois; and Randy Langley of Bristow, Oklahoma; one sister, Thelma Melson of Davenport, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, September 2, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the Memorial Chapel of the Davis Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Clouse, officiating.
