DORA BERNICE SMITH
1925 - 2001


Dora Bernice Perry Smith of Prague died Monday at her home. She was 76.
She was born April 18, 1925, near Paden to William H. and Mary L. May Raines Perry.
She was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of the Prague/Paden area.
She married Elden L. "Cotton" Smith on March 3, 1941 in Okfuskee county.
She was an active member of Freewill Baptist Churches all of her adult life. She had been a member of the View of Cross Freewill Baptist Church in Prague for the last several years.
Her parents, two brothers, two sisters, a grandson and son-in-law preceded her in death.
Surviving are her husband, Elden L., "Cotton" Smith of Prague, two daughters and sons-in-law, Viola and Don Brummett of Commerce, Texas and Mary Ann Troise Cotton of Shawnee; a brother, Clifford Perry of Paden, a sister, Christina Hall of Prague, three grandsons and wives, Michael and Katrina Warden of Prague, Eric and Sharla Brummett of Wichita, Kansas and Perry and Mary Ann Warden of Newton, Kansas, two great-granddaughters as well as other loved ones and numerous friends.
Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Prague Cemetery with Glen Pence officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service, Prague.
Memorials may be made to the Prague Library or Hospice of Shawnee.
