JIM DURL SKINNER
1940 - 2013


Jim Durl Skinner, an Agra resident, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2013 in his home at the age of 72 years.
The son of the late Willis C. Skinner and Gwendolene York Skinner, Jim was born on May 7, 1940 in Nocona, Texas.
He was united in marriage to Gloria Tate on November 20, 1958 in Lexington, Oklahoma.
They eventually made their home in the Agra area over 30 years ago.
Jim had worked as a rough neck and driller in the oil field for over 20 years.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria of the home; two sons, Troy Dale Skinner and Jimmy Wayne Skinner; four brothers, Lloyd, Herman, Donald and Bill; two sisters, Mary and Hattie; numerous grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters.
Graveside services have been entrusted to the care of the Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, Oklahoma and will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 1, 2013 in the Parkland Cemetery, Parkland, Oklahoma.
