BILLY G. SKINNER
1942 - 2013


Billy G. Skinner, age 70 of Agra, Oklahoma passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at his home in Agra.
Billy was born on July 14, 1942 in Nocona, Texas to the late Willis C. and Gwendolene York Skinner.
He grew up in Nocona, Texas where he attended school. Billy moved to the Parkland area in 1966 and was baptized into the Church of the Firstborn on August 15, 1966 at the Broken Bridge Creek.
Billy said, “I felt so good, I could not explain it”.
He married Lucille Wilkenson Simmons on May 31, 1977.
He was self employed in the lawn business.
Billy enjoyed eating Bar-B-Q and family reunions. He liked to travel to “Prairie Union” and listen to Adrian Hill.
Hack Glass was Billy’s school bus driver and every time he came home they would have a reunion.
Billy is survived by his wife Lucille; brothers Lloyd C. Skinner of Bridge Port, Texas; Herman Skinner of Saginaw, Texas; Donald Skinner of Mustang, Oklahoma; sisters Mary McGuairt of Nocona, Texas; and Hattie Merchant of Nocona, Texas; and twenty two grandchildren and thirty nine great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and six brothers.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at the Parkland Cemetery, Parkland, Oklahoma.
Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing.
