WANDA FAYE SELCER
1938 - 2016

Wanda Faye Selcer was born in Warwick, Oklahoma on November 4, 1938 to A. B. Selcer and Willie Clanton Selcer. She passed away March 26, 2016 in Chandler, Oklahoma at the age of 76.
She graduated from Wellston High School in 1956, and after a career in Civil Service, retired from Tinker Air Force Base.
Although Wanda was never a birth mother, in 1964 she became an “Almost” mother to Sheila. In 1993 she made it official and adopted her brother’s children Sheila Greenfield and Darlene Beloncik and became an instant mother to two and Nanny to 6. She retired in 1990 and got to have wonderful times with her grandchildren. She made many Sonic and bakery runs that were fun for everyone.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Dale Selcer and Don Selcer and sister, Lorene Bone.
Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Melvin and Barbara Selcer of Agra; daughters and sons-in-law, Greg and Sheila Greenfield, Jon and Darlene Beloncik; six grandchildren; eight, great-grandchildren; lifelong friends, Jackie and Janna Stieber as well as many other family members and friends.
Wanda always knew God had blessed her in many ways, but felt especially blessed after being allowed to enjoy the “grands” and was allowed to stay for the “great-grands”, Kaleb and Ryleigh Wilson. She loved them all so much.
A graveside funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at the Star Valley Cemetery in Wellston.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
