ROSE M. SEFCIK
1911 - 1999


Lifelong Prague resident Rose M. Vobornik Sefcik died Friday in Oklahoma City. She was 87.
Mrs. Sefcik was born June 29, 1911, in Prague to Henry and Mary Pantlik Vobornik.
She married Joseph Sefcik on August 2, 1934 in Prague.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Prague and a 50-year member of the ZCJB Lodge No. 46 in Prague.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann and Roger Pritchett, Prague; two sisters, Helen Dostal, Prague; Clara Pospisil, Shawnee; sister-in-law, Doris Vobornik, Coral Springs, Florida; two grandchildren, Theresa A. and David Walkup, Edmond; Patricia and Bruce Metzinger, Allen, Texas; five great-grandchildren, Sarah Walkup, Mary Walkup and Carl Walkup, all of Edmond; and John Metzinger and Mark Metzinger, both of Allen, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, on March 14, 1993; her parents; one brother, Fredrick Vobornik; two sisters, Margaret Jezck and Libby Spurgeon.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday at the First United Methodist Church in Prague with the Rev. Jim Powell officiating.
Burial will follow in the Czech National Cemetery in Prague under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Prague.
Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Prague.
