ELTON EDWIN SCHULER
1904 - 2000


Elton Edwin Schuler died Friday in Harrah. He was 96.
He was born January 4, 1904, in Kickapoo Township, Lincoln County, Oklahoma Territory.
He was the son of John Matthew Schuler and Louisa Dorthea Fredricke Schnitger Schuler.
He married Leota Belle George on April 10, 1935, in Arcadia.
Mr. Schuler was a farmer and retired from Tinker Air Force Base as a machinist.
He was preceded in death by his wife, his mother and father, three brothers, Wesley Louis, Fredrick Matthew, Gilbert William; five sisters, Dorthea Elizabeth Ramseier, Alma Amelia Weierich, Jeanette Hulda Nitzel, Lydia Louisa Schuler, Matilda Marie Schuler; a half sister, Alvina Augusta Schuler and stepbrother, William Theodore Nitzel.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Gerald and Treva Schuler of Shawnee; and Dale and Del Schuler of Tulsa; grandchildren, Lori and Mark Craig; Janice and Curt Thomas; Kendall and Dana Schuler; Bryan and Karri Schuler; Dana and Doug Drummond; ten great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and sister-in-law, Faye Steele of Redding, California.
Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Jamison Cemetery under the direction of Bill Eisenhour NE Chapel in Oklahoma City.
