MICHAEL ANTHONY SALA
1952 - 1998


Paden resident Michael Anthony "Poke" Sala died Monday in Paden. He was 46.
Michael was born May 2, 1952, in Claremore to Buster "Bud" and Marie Chisolm Sala.
He graduated from Paden High School and attended Oklahoma State University for two years.
He was a heavy-equipment operator for the State of Oklahoma and also was owner of Sala's Backhoe Service, Paden.
Survivors include his son, Shane Sala, his mother, Marie Sala, brother, Bob Sala and sister, Mildred S. Bullard, all of Paden, grandchild, Dace Sala and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1996 and brother, Sam Sala, in 1955.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel, Prague, with Bro. Paul Heard officiating.
Burial will follow in the Prague Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Prague.
