WANDA FRANCES SADLER PETTIT
1934 - 2009


Wanda Frances Lynch Sadler Pettit, a Cushing resident, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2009 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 75 years.
The daughter of the late Lewis Oscar and Ina Merle Riggs Lynch, Wanda was born in Stroud, Oklahoma on May 14, 1934. She was reared and educated in the Drumright area.
Wanda was a homemaker. She enjoyed dancing, fishing and going out to eat dinner.
She had attended the First Church of God in Drumright when she was younger. She came to know the Lord prior to her passing away.
She was united in marriage to J. W. Sadler and had been married for thirty years prior to his death.
Wanda married Harley Pettit March 2, 2009 in Cushing.
Wanda is survived by her husband, Harley of the home; her daughters, Phyllis Horton and husband Al of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Cheryl Sadler of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; sons, Shane Wyrick of Sand Springs, Oklahoma and William Sadler of Fairfax, Oklahoma; brothers, Lloyd Vern Lynch of Cushing, Jerry Ray Lynch and wife Sallie of Tehachapi, California and Melvin Lynch and wife Pauline of Cushing; sisters, Betty Arndt Pratt and husband Edward of Cushing; Darlean Bishoff and husband L. J. of Clovis, California and Sandra Kay Lynch of Cushing; step-children, Cindy Ingles and husband Russell of Bozeman, Montana; Michael Pettit and wife Janie of Anadarko and Marvin Pettit and wife Christian of California.
In addition to her parents and husband J. W. Sadler, Wanda was preceded in death by her brother, Gary Eugene Lynch.
Funeral services have been entrusted to the Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, and will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 6, 2009 in the Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel, Cushing with burial to follow in the Carney Cemetery.
Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing.
