VIRGINIA FAY RUSS
1934 - 2013


Virginia Fay Holden Russ, Wellston, Oklahoma, resident was born on October 31, 1934, in Jenkins, Kentucky, and departed this life on June 24, 2013, at her home near Wellston, at the age of 78 years.
Virginia was the daughter of Otis and Myrtle Tankersley Holden.
She married Ted Russ in Norwalk, Ohio, on February 19, 1966.
Virginia worked for over 30 years at the Fanny Farmer Candy Company as a manager in the distribution department.
She was a member of Hillside Baptist Church in McLoud, Oklahoma.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, one son, one daughter, three sisters and one brother.
Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Ted Russ of the home, one son, Larry Durr of Wellston, one daughter, Rhonda Pierce of New Orleans, Louisiana, and one brother, Buck Holden of Cincinnati, Ohio, eight grand children and six great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 28, 2013, at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Chandler, Oklahoma, with Jim Carver officiating.
Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
