PAUL DEAN RUSSELL
1949 - 2014


Paul Dean Russell was born, the youngest of fourteen children, January 19, 1949 in Wynne, Arkansas to Dave Samuel Russell and Lula Mae Sutton Russell.
He passed away April 5, 2014 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 65.
Paul served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corps with a tour in Vietnam. He received several awards and accommodations including a Purple Heart.
He later served as a missionary on the San Carlos Reservation.
Paul was a Registered Nurse in hospitals and Home Health.
He was a traveling minister serving throughout the South and Southwest. Recently he was an active minister with the Higher Praise Outreach in Stroud.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents; and nine siblings.
Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Karell Russell of the home; daughter, Bonnie Carmichael of San Springs; sons, Brian Keeney of Arlington, Texas; Chad Keeney of Roanoke, Texas; granddaughter, Kathryn Carmichael; siblings, Laverne Jones, Joann Shadwick, Ann Jones and Pat Russell, all of Arkansas.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at the Higher Praise Outreach in Stroud.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
