JAMES JOHN RUCK II
1982 - 2013


James John Ruck II, “Jimmy”, was born August 24, 1982 in Birmingham, Alabama to Timothy James and Terri Jai Estes Ruck.
He died in a traffic accident while working Wednesday February 6, 2013 in Rosedale, Oklahoma at the age of 30.
Jimmy was a dedicated husband and father. He loved his children and loved to spend time with them. He was a family man and country boy that loved his simple home life as well as hunting and fishing.
He served his country proudly in the Army National Guard.
He was a simple man that easily made many friends. He loved his sisters and always had encouraging words for them. His last words to his mother was, “I love Brandy, and my children and I just want my simple home life.”
Jimmy was preceded in death by his grandfather, James John Ruck I.
He is survived by his wife, Brandy {Sides} Ruck of the home; three children, Colt Samuel, Ariel Faith and Julia Marie; parents, Timothy and Terri Ruck of Natchitoches, Louisiana; two sisters, Tabitha Ruck and her fiancé Seth Mayeaux of Natchitoches, Lousiana; and Kim Ruck of Nashville, Tennessee; paternal grandmother, Marie Ruck of Mobile, Alabama; maternal grandmother, Edith Tyler of Pleasant Grove, Alabama; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other family and friends.
Visitation will be Friday February 8, 2013 and the family will be present from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. to receive friends.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 9, 2013 at the First Baptist Church in Davenport with interment following in the Davenport Cemetery.
