BEULAH MAE ROWLAND
1917 - 1997


Beulah Mae Keys Rowland, 80, of Prague, died in Shawnee on Monday.
She was born on September 22, 1917, in Paragould, Arkansas to George and Zella Blair Keys.
She was married to W. E. Rowland on July 10, 1936, at the side of Highway 99 on the Pottawatomie county line south of Prague.
She worked for many local restaurants as a cook.
She is survived by her husband, W. E. Rowland of the home, three sons and two daughters-in-law, Eugene and Karen Rowland ofEllensburg, Washington, Leroy and Shirley Rowland of Choctaw and Bud Rowland of Del City, five daughters and two sons-in-law, JoAnn Mouka and Carol and John Walker of Meeker, Teresa Gerlich and Mary Hill of Prague and Reda and Ernest Leverich of Choctaw, one sister, Lavena Burton of Bloomfield, Missour, fifteen grandchildren, twenty two great-grandchildren and numerous friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sisters.
Services are set for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church, Prague, with the Rev. Tim Emmons officiating.
Burial will follow at Prague Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of the Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Prague.
