GRACE MARIE ROSS
1909 - 2005


Funeral services for Grace Marie Sisco Ross, 96, of Purcell were held November 28, 2005 at Union Hill Baptist Church in Purcell with the Rev. Barry McConathy officiating.
Interment was at Carney Cemetery in Carney, Oklahoma.
Services were under the direction of Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.
Mrs. Ross died November 24, 2005 at Lexington Nursing Home.
She was born February 1, 1909 in Salina, Oklahoma, the third of five children of Charles Curtis Sisco and Mary Della Wise Sisco. She was reared in western Oklahoma.
On June 12, 1926 she married Gardner Almus Ross in Woodward. For many years they traveled all over the western United States while he rodeoed. She was a homemaker. In 1989 her family settled down and moved to Purcell where she lived until she died.
Mrs. Ross was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church and enjoyed her Sunday school class.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gardner "Bud" Ross; one son, Boyd Rae Ross; two sisters, Ruby Hill and Beulah Durham and two brothers, Ordis Sisco and Clarence Sisco.
Survivors include six grandchildren and many great and great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Danny Green, Dale Huddleston, Hub Roath, Terry Rayburn, L.B. Flanigan and Bill Cole.
Honorary pallbearers were Lowell George and J. W. Kelly.
Memorials may be made to the Union Hill Baptist Church.
