GLORIA JEAN ROLSTON
1939 - 2011


Gloria Jean Baker Rolston was born July 17, 1939, in Fairfax, South Dakota, and died Sunday, December 11, 2011, at her home in Chandler. She was 72 years of age.
She was the daughter of Clarence and Blanche Beem Baker.
Gloria married Harold O. Rolston on June 29, 1956.
She was a farmer and rancher and raised ostriches. She was also a member of Chandler Church on the Rock.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, one brother and two sisters.
Survivors include one son, Robert W. Rolston of Chandler; three daughters, Peggy L. Rolston of Parker, Colorado; Penny L. Rolston of Golden, Colorado; and Susan Rolston of Chandler; seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
She is also survived by one brother, Benny Baker of Fairfax; and one sister, Mildred Reiser of Spencer, Nebraska as well as other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 today, December 15, 2011, for Gloria Jean Rolston at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Chandler with the Rev. Ron Keeling officiating.
Burial will follow at Parkland Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
