WILLIAM BOWIE ROBERTS
1934 - 2011


William "Bill" Bowie Roberts was born November 29, 1934, in Duncan, Oklahoma and died Saturday, June 25, 2011, at his home in Prague. He was 76 years old.
He worked in advertising and public relations. He was a writer, an editor and publisher of Oklahoma Business Magazine, CB Magazine, Indian America and Oklahoma Living.
Preceding him in death were his father, Hayden Roberts, his mother, Elsie Roberts and brother, John Roberts.
Survivors include his wife, Mary "Kelly" Aycock Roberts, his children, Shelby and Ingrid Roberts and Hayden and Sarah Roberts, their mother, Dora, three grandchildren and other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held today, June 30, 2011, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague.
Burial will follow at Prague Cemetery at a later date under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service, Prague.
The family has asked that memorials in Bill's memory be sent to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, 825 Northeast 13th Street, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73104-5097 or KOSU Oklahoma Public Radio {Attn: Kelly, 303 Paul Miller, Stillwater, Oklahoma 74078, 800-228-4678}.
